The relaunch follows months of audience research and includes a new logo, brand mantra "The Smart Filter" and new content features.
The brand mantra reinforces Brand Republic’s position as the leading authority on all sectors of brand marketing, and its commitment to curating the information that matters most to its audiences.
The site will allow for greater community engagement, and will also be a platform for younger audiences to share their thoughts and opinions on the industry.
In response to audience feedback, the brand is also launching the daily bulletin called ‘18:05’ - a digest that curates the five things Brand Republic’s audiences need to know at the end of every day.
Paul Frampton, chief executive of Havas Media said the relaunch is a "very positive step" for the brand.
The site will continue to collate the best news from ±±¾©Èü³µpk10, Marketing and Media Week, and will also incorporate new features exclusive to Brand Republic.
These include:
A convergence channel, dedicated to exploring the merging state of marketing and communications. The channel is designed to be a hub of conversation, opinion and debate led by Brand Republic and a specially appointed panel of industry thought leaders.
Inspiring careers content targeted at new talent including articles and insight on work placements, internships, training and advice on building personal networks.
A stronger focus on technology coverage, including ad tech, start-ups, connected brands and wearable tech.
Full integration of Brand Republic Insight, which will give users easier access to the site’s premium content, including expert reports, webinars and surveys.
Integration of sister blog, The Wall. With more than 1,000 contributors, it forms the hub of Brand Republic’s community.
Rachel Bull, editor of Brand Republic, said: "I’m so proud to be relaunching Brand Republic today. The new Brand Republic aims to reflect the creativity, agility and innovation that define the UK marcoms sector. A lot of hard graft, research and testing have gone into making the new site.
"And this is only the beginning. With our new site we aim to harness the Brand Republic community and provide more and better ways for our audiences to engage with our content, our brand and each other. To do this we will be continuing to launch new content and technical features on the site throughout 2015."
Marketing professional Omaid Hiwaizi said the new site feels like "Mashable for marketing".
