Listening to and talking to people.

The opportunity to be at the very heart of the media industry - and the office is a two-minute walk from my house.

Michael Palin - he enjoys life and gets paid to go on holiday.

Bored.

If you had three wishes, what would they be?

What makes you angry?
Apathy - life's too short to sit on the fence.

What is your favourite bar or restaurant?
Anywhere sandy where shoes are optional.

What was your best freebie?
Someone once sent me a branded megaphone - it lasted five minutes before it was forcibly removed from my grasp.

What was your finest hour?
Winning the IPA stage one training trophy. Our team spent weeks nailing a brief to get White Horse whisky to appeal to the young.

Do you speak any other languages?
A few. I always make a point of knowing how to say ‘Thank you' before I depart.
