What advice would you give someone starting their marketing career today?

Do a lot of free stuff - using blogs, Twitter, Facebook - to create a buzz around yourself. There are no barriers to entry now, so do what you can to get your name out there. Also, don't be afraid to do some work experience at a forward-thinking company for a month or two. You never know, you might get the job.

The Terrace, Leicester.

Best was a supercar racing day; the worst was a hand-warmer.
