BR video: Has 'boring' Celebrity Big Brother had its day?

LONDON - Most of the members of the public interviewed in the latest Brand Republic video were not interested in watching Channel 4's 'Celebrity Big Brother' this time around, labelling it as "boring" -- watch the video now.

Only a couple of those interviewed had tuned into this year's '' on .

One Brand Republic interviewee thought the show should have been cancelled long ago, while another hated reality TV altogether.

Despite some negatives comments on the streets the show continues to pull in a fairly healthy audience. On Monday night the show held a surprise eviction night with two separate programmes.

The first instalment was watched by 1.7m viewers and the second instalment, which saw former pop group member Michelle Heaton picked for eviction ahead of Ulrika Jonsson, drew in 3.3m viewers.

The sixth edition of 'Celebrity Big Brother' draws to a close this Friday, when the winner will be named. 

Seven housemates remain, including US rapper Coolio, "Mini Me" actor Verne Troyer, and Michael Jackson's sister LaToya.
