Last year it featured 96 rugby teams and 16 netball teams and attracted 12,000 people over three days.
This year it takes place from 22-24 May at Bournemouth Sports Club and is expected to attract 20,000 people.
Organised by Diamond Sports Events, the festival features a two-day tournament with 196 teams competing to be the Bournemouth Sevens 2009 Champions.
International rugby stars from the Guinness Premiership will take part in the tournament, and England rugby stars including Austin Healey, Lewis Moody and Olly Barkley will be signing autographs in the VIP pitchside marquee.
