Boots replaces stores with giant luxury products in 'order and collect' ad

Boots UK, the health and beauty retailer, has replaced stores in rural towns and villages with giant luxury products in its latest TV ad.

The spot features women looking bemused when items from brands such as Benefit, Estée Lauder and Clinique nestle between buildings on their local high street.

The ad promotes Boots’ order and collect service, which lets customers who order items online before 6pm collect their shopping from stores after midday the following day.

The ad airs on Sunday 12 October during The X Factor, the ITV talent show, and has been created by Mother. It was directed by Paul Gay through RSA. The media agency was OMD UK.

Andy Ferguson, the marketing director at Boots UK, said: "We want to help our customers experience the smoothest and easiest Christmas shop this year, taking some of the hassle out of the festive season and ensuring they have easy access to the gifts they want.

"Customers will recognise high-streets from our shoots in the Cotswolds, Cornwall, Northern England and Wales and can feel confident that our full range is now available to them wherever their high street is."

Boots full range is only stocked in its largest stores in major urban locations.
