Boots' petal drop event to take over St Christopher's Place

Boots has once again opted to host a petal falling event in London to raise awareness of night time hay fever.

This year’s event, named the Petal Party, will take place on 4 May at St Christopher's Place in central London. 

It will see more than three million petals released into the air above the space, which marks an increase on .

The brand has teamed up with Lauren Pope of The Only Way Is Essex, who will deliver a DJ set on the night. The event will commence at 7pm, and it is expected to last one-hour.

The stunt aims to highlight that the ‘hay fever hangover effect’ brought on by night time hay fever can be treated with the right products. 

The condition is said to be brought on when the air cools down at the end of the day and pollen falls to the ground, which leads to poor quality sleep on behalf of sufferers.

St Christopher's Place also last month, which was made of 1,200 fresh flowers.
