The exhibition tennis event, which this year is being hosted for the first time at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Knutsford, Cheshire, will welcome around 1,200 visitors throughout the three days.
Vicky Collins, director at White Events, which is organising The Boodles Classique, told Event: "Being at a new venue this year, it is a good opportunity to turn the event around. When we announced Goran Ivanisevic would be headlining the event, it became a sell-out.
"We also wanted to change the way we organised the event this year, cutting back the number of days dedicated to tennis matches from three to two. We wanted to balance this for visitors so they could enjoy the hospitality."
The player line-up for The Boodles Tennis Classique this year includes Mark Philippoussis, Richard Krajicek, two-time Wimbledon doubles champion Peter McNamara, French Open finalist Mikael Pernfors, and Wimbledon finalist Anders Järryd.
"At the moment we have more champions at Boodles than Wimbledon does," said Collins. "There is a real buzz in the UK at the moment about tennis, and we believe we are the Wimbledon of the north."
Collins added that the intimate court, along with a marquee which overlooks the tennis action, supplied by Dove Valley Outdoor Events, provides the perfect experience for guests.
Other highlights of the event will include a Moet & Chandon champagne reception on arrival for guests, as well as a three-course gourmet lunch after which the tennis will commence.
This will be followed by an Asahi afternoon tea party, and Saturday evening will feature a gala dinner reception including a fashion show as well as a three-course meal.
