The creative studio will be showcasing colour-changing, thermochromatic flowers at an 'ultra-exotic' florist in the basement of the London Edition hotel.
Visitors will be able to stop by to pick up a bouquet of the unique blooms, enjoy a glass of Perrier-Jouët champagne and take part in workshops, where they will be able to create their own colour-changing flowers by hand-painting petals with thermochromatic ink. The sessions will also include a champagne tasting session and a talk on floriography - the art of giving more specific meanings to flowers.
The four-day pop-up - coined Perrier-Jouët Fleurs des Rêves - will be housed in a set inspired by both 1890s Parisian salons and the huge greenhouses of the House of Perrier-Jouët. It will feature video art, technical lighting, perfumed crystal fluids and a choreographed playlist set to become ‘more lurid, profane and psychedelic’ as the evening progresses.
Perrier-Jouët Fleurs des Rêves will be open from 11-14 February.
Hamish Millar, senior brand manager at Perrier-Jouët, said: "At Perrier-Jouët, we are eternally inspired by the Art Nouveau ethos of infusing art in the everyday experience, whilst valuing craftsmanship and the natural world.
"These thermochromatic flowers created by Bompas & Parr represent our innate philosophy perfectly and complement the element of surprise and ephemerality of nature, which Perrier-Jouët Fleur des Rêves represents. Bompas & Parr [will be] doing what they do best, creating rituals and experiences of a decadence that will make you think of the Belle Epoque."
