The 5,200sqm venue was scheduled to open at the end of this month, but the launch was put back to coincide with its first event, Clarion’s Spirit of Christmas.
It will be linked to the Kent shopping centre via a restaurant Plaza housing 12 entertainment-themed restaurants, including Jamie’s Italian, Wahaca and Wagamama.
Several other events are planned for December including a Festive Food Fair, a Christmas in New York experience with an ice rink and Santa’s grotto, and a Last Minute Gift Fair.
Clarion Events portfolio director Matt Miller said the venue "represents a new way of thinking" for the event industry.
"Our first events will reinforce its significance too, bringing to Bluewater’s guests something quite different to anywhere else in the UK, at a time when footfall and interest in Europe’s leading retail and leisure destination is at a natural high," he said.
Events Venue director Rebecca Cardozo added: "With just weeks to go, momentum is really building, as is anticipation of the range of events, shows and experiences that the Events Venue will be hosting."
As previously reported in Event , the and are also being held at the venue in 2012.
