Blue Sheep competition offers prize of CRM upgrade

LONDON - Business-to-business marketing company Blue Sheep is launching a national competition, in which the winning company will see its customer marketing strategy transformed to the value of 拢250,000.

The award scheme, called , has been created in response to the challenging economic environment, which is causing all companies to question their marketing spend and seek to reduce their exposure to risk.

Entries will be judged on the current state of their customer strategy and their aspirations for the future. The judges will pick a shortlist of three companies who have a real desire to change and would benefit most from winning.

Over 12 months, Blue Sheep will install its industry-leading AIM platform into the winning organisation's customer relations system, and create a single customer interface powered by a hosted platform from Alterian.

The winning company will also gain access to the Read Group's business suppression file throughout the 12-month period. In addition, the Institute of Direct Marketing will provide a course for one employee of the company.

Mark Roy, chief executive of the , said Blutopia promised to be an important way to promote the benefits of better B2B database management.

The winning company will be announced over a champagne lunch on September 22.
