Bigmouthmedia retains BA search account

LONDON - British Airways has retained Bigmouthmedia as its search agency, responsible for both the airline's paid and natural search.

Although Bigmouthmedia's current contract with the airline was due to expire at the end of this month, the partnership was renewed after a repitch in August as part of British Airways' standard procurement policy.

After working with the digital marketing agency for six years since 2002, British Airways cited Bigmouthmedia's expertise as a critical factor in the deal.

Working together with the airline's digital marketing team in search engine optimisation and pay-per-click strategy, the agency will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing paid search campaigns across the UK market.

Earlier this year, Bigmouthmedia was awarded a £5m search account for BT Business' directories following a multi-agency pitch.

Last month, the agency also won the online media account for UK number plate provider British Car Registrations.
