The centre has confirmed five key events – one of which is taking place later this month – that will give the local economy a huge financial boost.
The bookings include an event for the NSH Alliance next year, which will inject around £900,000 into Bournemouth's economy, and two events for UNISON that are worth a massive £8.5m in visitor spend.
"Shorter lead times for booking events is an increasing trend as clients give greater consideration to where to place their event," said BIC head of conferences, exhibitions and events Clive Tyers.
"With uncertainty in the marketplace, clients are holding back until nearer the time, but the business is still out there and still being placed; our diary is looking very positive for the coming years."
Recent statistics value Bournemouth's business tourism at £127.6m, of which the BIC and Pavilion contribute £73m annually.
