It unfolds in the style of a rolling photo album and features Ben & Jerry's own memorable moments including their early days in Vermont, attending ice-cream school and the first "Free Cone Day".
The album also features their infamous "Cowmobile", which delivers ice-cream around the US, and other still images directly from Ben & Jerry's archive.
A comical US voiceover guides viewers through the album, which ends with the strapline, "Ben & Jerry's, to know it is to love it".
The company is considering launching the ad in Europe at a later date.
