Ben & Jerry鈥檚 third Sundae on the Common will be 16,500sqm bigger when it takes place at Clapham Common from 28-29 July.

The event, organised by Cake, has grown from a one-day festival with a capacity for 5,000 to two days with 10,000 people expected each day. Cake works alongside charities WWF, Trees for Cities, RSPCA and Save the World for the event.

Its event co-ordinator Andy Ashton said: 鈥淭he festival sums up everything that Ben & Jerry鈥檚 stand for as it enables it to give something back to the community.鈥

It will also be using cones instead of paper cups to distribute the free ice cream to cut back on paper waste. Other features include a helter skelter, Vauxhall City Farm and candle dipping.

\The band line-up includes The Proclaimers, Noisettes and The Ordinary Boys.
