The event, held over the same weekend as its Chicago namesake, saw the spirit of Chicago descend on to Red Market in East London, as beer lovers enjoyed an assortment of local street food and great beers, including award-winning Goose IPA, Honkers Ale and 312 Urban Wheat Ale.
Rare brews and limited edition batches were also served up, including 2013 Bourbon County Stout and Vans Golden Lager, a one-off collaboration between Goose Island and the legendary shoe maker.
Around 1,000 people attended the event and were treated to performances from indie rock band Everything Everything, supported by female-fronted rock ‘n’ roll four-piece Black Honey and alternative pop-duo Little White Things.
