Havas Media won the business after a competitive pitch against OMD and the7stars.
The media account covers the EMEA region, with the UK, France and Germany being the main markets for the brand.
WPP’s Maxus, the incumbent media agency in EMEA, did not repitch. Maxus will continue to handle duties in Asia-Pacific.
The account will be led by Nick Wright, head of creative media at Havas Group, and run by a specialist team of "builders and buyers" – a bespoke model of media planners, creative, content specialists and strategists.
The review does not affect Beats' creative agency relationships in the UK. The brand works with R/GA London and Anomaly London.
Matt Adams, chief executive of Havas Media UK & International, said: "This win is particularly significant for Havas Media because it represents the first new account since we moved into the Havas Village in Kings Cross.
"Since coming together under one roof and one P&L, Havas can now offer clients a unique way of working that includes a blend of media and creative expertise to really drive their business and take advantage of the very latest innovation, technology and trends."
