The size of the roster has increased to reflect the nature and demand of sponsorship activity across the government.
As well as BBH Content and Carat, other new agencies on the roster are Brand Rapport, Fast Track, Hill & Knowlton, Karen Earl Sponsorship, OMD Fuse, RWA, SponsorCom, Sponsorship Consulting, Spring London, Starcom, UBC Media and Universal Sound Principles.
They join existing agencies Captalize, Drum PHD, Markettiers 4DC, MEC Sponsorship and Sponsorvision.
Included in the roster will be services such as sponsorship consultancy, TV, radio, press and digital sponsorship.
Daphne De Souza, the COI head of sponsorship who led the review, said: "We have seen areas such as advertiser-funded programming evolve as a means of reaching particular audiences via light entertainment programming.
"The aim is to raise awareness of issues and influence behaviour."
Due to an increase in partnership marketing activity, a separate partnership marketing roster was launched in January 2006.
