The deal will see Olive providing editorial including Simple Suppers, Food in Seas and a selection of restaurants from the magazine's ongoing Top 100 list. The content will appear on Handbag's food section.
As part of the deal, there will be a link to Olive's subscription site where Handbag readers can sign up to receive Handbag's newsletter and save 25% on a subscription to Olive magazine.
Debbie Djordjevic, editor of Handbag, said: "The Handbag audience is one of the most receptive when it comes to new ideas, whether they be fashion, beauty or food and drink. Olive recipes are some of the most inspiring around and I know our audience will love them."
Olive was launched by BBC Magazines in November last year, and targets the group dubbed the "white plate generation", who are described as being trend-literate with eating and drinking at the heart of their social lives.
Handbag.com launched in 1999 and has more than 850,000 users a month. It is jointly owned by Boots and Telegraph New Media.
