The title will launch on 4 March, supported by a national television campaign. The coverprice will be £1.80, the same as the existing football magazine Match!.
The first issue features an interview with the Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo. The title includes an eight-page pull-out skills guide for fans who dream of becoming Premier League footballers.
Match of the Day will also have match results and tables from the weekend, gossip, posters, quizzes and competitions and star interviews.
The title will be supported online by motdmag.com, which will feature bespoke football games, where users can personalise their own team, and up-to-the-minute football statistics.
BBC closed its original Match of the Day monthly magazine, which was aimed at adults, in 2001.
