BBC Magazines in cross-media deal with RSPB

LONDON - The Royal Society of the Protection of Birds has launched an ad campaign through BBC Magazines' print titles, including CountryFile and Radio Times, as well as its websites and live events.

The integrated campaign will stretch across the Radio Times, Gardeners' World, CountryFile and BBC Wildlife Magazine throughout March and April.

Press activity will be accompanied by a bespoke microsite, as well as advertisements on BBC Magazine's websites and Love Earth, BBC Worldwide's natural history .

Further activity will be extended to the Gardeners' World Live event at the NEC in June.

Deborah Rosenegk, head of BBC Magazines Brand Solutions, said: "This highly targeted advertising package delivers RSPB a huge audience across the BBC Magazines portfolio.

"This campaign is indicative of the increasing interest we're seeing for multi-platform deals across magazines, online and events to reach consumers in number of ways."

The deal was brokered between John Ayling & Associates and BBC Magazines Brand Solutions.

Jonny Wright, the RSPB's head of membership recruitment, said: "Working with the BBC is a great way of reaching our audience, both through their magazines and online portfolio.

"The BBC's incredible audience reach allows us to make the RSPB relevant to the lives of so many people who treasure the natural wonders of this planet and care enough to want to save it."
