BBC Magazines promotes Teeman to director of ad sales

LONDON - BBC Magazines has promoted Matt Teeman to director of advertising sales, following Ashley Munday's move to a development-orientated role last December.

Teeman, who has been acting sales director since December, will oversee a team of more than 100 across 25 BBC titles, including Radio Times, Good Food, Top Gear and Top of the Pops.

Teeman joined the BBC in 1993 as a senior sales executive on Radio Times and became deputy ad manager in 1997. In 1999, he became commercial manager on and group advertising director for BBC Magazines in 2002.

Munday, who has been working abroad on BBC Magazines' projects for the past six months, will be assuming UK publishing responsibilities for what the division has described as a "significant development project", the full details of which are expected to come later in the year.
