In the Night Garden magazine will launch in Australia at the end of this month. The monthly title will be the third to be published by Park Publishing, the joint venture between Australian publisher ACP and BBC Worldwide, which already produces Top Gear magazine and Australian Good Food.
In the Night Garden is shown daily on ABC TV in Australia. BBC Worldwide said it attracts about a 30% share of the audience.
Separately, BBC Magazines has licensed factual magazine BBC Knowledge to Singapore publisher Regent Media, which will publish the magazine across Asia from September.
BBC Knowledge magazine is a full-colour glossy offering features on science, history and nature. Its content draws on the existing portfolio of factual titles produced by BBC Magazines Bristol, including science title Focus, BBC History Magazine and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
This is the third licence for BBC Knowledge magazine, which is already sold in the USA and Brazil.
