Vidler will be responsible for marketing across all BCM brands, spanning magazines, radio, online, mobile and television. She will report to BCM chief executive Paul Keenan.
Vidler said: ‘I want to enable our talented creative teams to connect strongly with their brands' core and to reach new audiences delivering what those audiences want, when and where they want it, either on air, online, on the page or on the go.'
Vidler joined Bauer Consumer Media (then Emap) in June 2005. In two years, she and her team reinvigorated Magic 104.5, taking it to number one in the highly competitive London market, breaking through the 2m listeners mark for the first time.
Prior to joining Emap, she was managing director of Capital 95.8 in London and the Capital FM Network. Previously, she worked at the BBC for six years where she held a number of strategic marketing and communications roles.
