The company is to unveil a number of its best-selling lines in Morrisons this month.
The launch will mean Baskin Robbins is competing against Ben & Jerry’s, Haagen-Dazs and Wall's in the premium ice cream tub market.
Baskin-Robbins has limited listings in some of the smaller supermarkets, such as Londis, but the move marks a serious attempt to muscle into the big four supermarkets.
The company claims to be the largest ice cream franchise in the world and sells ice creams in more than 30 countries. Its headquarters are in Massachusetts, in the US.
The ice-cream maker has signed a six-month deal with Morrisons, which will list its Cookies & Cream, Mint Choc Chip, Hokey Pokey and Praline & Cream flavours. They will be available in 500ml tubs, be sold at £3.99 each.
Baskin-Robbins is bidding to extend its distribution to other multiples this year.
