Contract publisher Baber Smith is set to launch a customer magazine for Brent Cross Shopping Centre entitled Inspire.

The quarterly retail magazine is scheduled to appear at the end of this month. It is targeting 25-to 45-year-old professional women with high disposable incomes.

The magazine will have a 100,000 print run. Around 30,000 copies will be available in key locations within the centre and the remaining 70,000 will be distributed in Brent Cross catchment areas in North London such as Hampstead, Ealing, St John's Wood and Belsize Park.

The magazine will cover men's and women's fashion, health and beauty, home furnishings, shopping news, celebrity interviews and travel. There will also be reviews of films, theatre, bars, restaurants, books and music.

Inspire will carry advertorials from stores such as Fenwick, Austin Reed, Kookai and Top Shop.

Sue Barnett has been appointed sales executive on the account. She will report to group advertisement manager Richard Lisney.

The first issue has pulled in ads from Hermes Watches, Maurice Lacroix, Vision Express, Clinique, Laura Ashley and Nivea.

The magazine plans to introduce a colour concept to encourage advertisers to work to a theme. A blue section, for example, will promote a range of co-ordinated products on sale in the shopping centre.
