B&Q partners with Interact 20|20 for sustainable living campaign

B&Q has commissioned Interact 20|20 to create installations for its Green Saves You Money campaign, to be showcased at the 'Garden Party to Make a Difference' from 8-19 September.

The event will take place within the royal gardens of Clarence House and is organised by Start, an initiative that is part of the Prince’s Charities Foundation to encourage sustainable living.

Interact 20|20 has created a series of installations, including ‘The Water Fall’, which features a huge shower head with cascades of droplets of water spelling out messages; a giant paint can sculpture to remind visitors they can recycle paint; and a giant piggy bank to convey the idea that being green saves money.

"We are taking a message-led, fun approach to what is essentially a very serious issue," said Interact 20|20 managing director Patrick Donovan.

"We are confident that the visual impact of the installations will attract people and make them want to find out more about projects they can do at home to lead greener lives and save money."
