Awards: Wax scoops the ISP Grand Prix prize

LONDON - Wax Communications and Blue Chip Marketing were the big winners at the ISP awards, with Wax winning the Grand Prix award and Blue Chip winning Agency of the Year.

Blue Chip is the first agency outside London to win the top agency award. The Manchester agency won a gold for its Kellogg's Wake up to Breakfast and Be a Zookeeper campaigns. It also won a series of silver and bronze awards for won on clients including 3M and Hartley's.

Wax won the Grand Prix for its Book Bank promotion. The push, which is running in schools, offers vouchers to kids who bring in and donate books. These vouchers can then be exchanged in-store for a variety of titles while parents also receive a 10%-off coupon for purchases over £10.

The ISP judges said described the campaign as "a brilliant example of a simple idea and a joy to read". They also pointed out the 8.2% response rate and the 14% redemption rate for the voucher.

Other winners included The Big Kick, which won a Gold award (travel and leisure) for Walkers Crisps' and Billington Cartmell which won a gold (food) for .

Unilever won the brand owner of the year award for campaigns including Pot Noodle Spinning Fork, Flora Cooking with Schools, PG Tips Rainforest Alliance.
