Avis hires WWAV West for DM partnership activity

LONDON – Avis, the car rental company, has appointed WWAV Rapp Collins West to carry out a range of direct marketing activity to heighten awareness of its partnerships.

Initial work will involve mailings promoting the various tie-ups between Avis and its partners, including Lufthansa, Tesco Clubcard, Hilton Hotels and Cottages4you.

Sarah Orchard, customer marketing manager at Avis, said: "We are keen to heighten awareness of our partnerships, add customer value and generate loyalty. We are confident that the agency's approach will also generate incremental rentals and prove mutually beneficial."

WWAV Rapp Collins West's clients include the Red Cross, Guide Dogs and Gala Bingo.
