The company devised the creation in celebration of National Yorkshire Pudding Day, which took place yesterday (7 February).

The master chefs at Aunt Bessie’s have spent the past three weeks building the cake, which comes complete with Yorkshire pudding canapes. Adam Nicholson and Becca Piwinski have been named as the lucky couple who won the competition to present the dessert at their wedding.

The duo will also be provided with a gravy fountain to complete their savoury wedding course.

Howard Rowell, development chef at Aunt Bessie's, said: "As the market leaders in Yorkshire puddings, we're always looking to take our development to the next level, and what better way to celebrate National Yorkshire Pudding Day than by giving two of our fans one of our finest creations yet."
