ANM, the digital publishing division of Associated Newspapers, said the redesigned will include new editorial sections, more independent advice and help from experts and a more modern and easy-to-use navigation.
The new site also provides advertisers with better commercial opportunities, which was a key aim of the redesign. As part of this the site features new, larger and more creative ad formats -- including superbanner, super-skyscraper and the MPU, all of which were introduced to the UK earlier this year.
Mark Milner, chief operating officer of ANM, said: "This is Money is a great commercial success story for ANM. The site has performed consistently well in the last year for our advertising clients and commercial partners alike. We are looking forward to being able to offer an increasingly effective range of advertising."
The site will offer up-to-the-minute news and comment on the financial markets, beefed-up consumer affairs content and a host of new features on how consumers can get more for their money.
Visitors to the site will find the latest stock market information and comprehensive tips and tactics for better investing. Associated also claims that its Share School and Investing guides will help investors beat the markets.
In addition, the site will cover the full range of personal finance products from insurance, tax and pensions to savings accounts, mortgages, loans and credit cards. Users will be able to search for the best products available on the market and apply directly online in Money Shop.
Avril Williams, editorial director at ANM, said: "The new look This is Money is easier to use than ever before. Exhaustively tested by our users, the site has more breaking news, better financial data, more comprehensive advice and great money-saving tips -- all written in plain English. We're sure our readers will love it."
