Asda hands trolley remit to Redbus Outdoor

LONDON - Supermarket chain Asda has appointed Redbus Outdoor to sell advertising space on the trollies throughout its UK stores.

To date Redbus has been working with Asda to implement campaigns sold by Asda Media Centre itself, but, following increased demand from agencies, Redbus has been appointed to manage all agency business for the trolley format.
Redbus specialises in retail media and currently also holds contracts with Sainsbury’s and Somerfield, which enables the companies’ ad spots to reach a total of 250m shoppers a month.
Antony Ceravolo, chief executive of Redbus Outdoor, said the benefit to clients of buying trolley ad space via their agencies “is now clear”.
“We have given advertisers what they want at the right price and have continually researched how best to plan and execute campaigns, both from a media and a communications perspective,” he said.
