Asda appoints new VP marketing from Premier Foods amid reshuffle

In the wake of last week's reshuffle, Asda has appointed Claire Harrison-Church from Premier Foods as VP marketing.

Her appointment comes after who left the company as

Harrison-Church will join Asda from Premier Foods later this month, where she was most recently category business unit director. She also has experience at KFC, Boots, Unilever and Sainsbury's.

Barry Williams, who took over the role of chief customer officer last week, said: "She will be leading a hugely skilled and professional team during an exciting period in our business and I look forward to her making her mark with us and our customers."

Reporting to Barry Williams, Harrison-Church will work alongside Lizzy Massey, who was appointed VP Customer. She will focus on developing Asda’s marketing strategy and collateral and Massey will head up Asda’s insight to ensure Asda "continues in its strong heritage of championing the customer."
