
On board the bus, bartenders will be serving the very best in Jamaican cocktails made with Appleton Estate Signature and Reserve Blends, such as Mai Tai and Jamaican mule, with visitors also having the chance to taste Appleton Estate Rare Blend 12 year old and Appleton Estate 21 year old.
Food including traditional jerk chicken will also be served, while a sugar cane press, sugar cane, hammocks, picnic tables, rum barrels and music will enhance the authentic Jamaican experience.
The activation will also include rum masterclass events hosted by global rum ambassador, Ian Burrell, and Appleton Estate’s rum expert, Stuart Vandyken. On board the Rum Bus, Appleton Estate’s specialist bartenders will serve the classic rum cocktails, the Mai Tai and Jamaican mule.
The Foodies Festival stop is one of several appearances the bus has made at Foodies Festivals throughout the summer. It previously made stops at events in Blackheath, Syon Park, Tatton Park in Manchester, Inverleith Park in Edinburgh and Harrogate. Its final stop will be at the Foodies Festival in Oxford, taking place from 2-4 September.
Appleton Estate is part of Campari Group and the bus activation has been devised together with agency Wolf Brand Experience. last year, as part of Rum Experience Week.
