This year the AOP has introduced new categories for 2005 to celebrate partnership and innovation within the online industry, including: commercial partnership 2005; use of new digital platform 2005 and cross-media project 2005. Additionally, what were formerly known as the editor and digital product or service awards, re-emerge as editorial team 2005 and website 2005.
Alexandra White, director of AOP, said: "AOP is committed to promoting excellence in digital publishing, and to showing both the consumer and the business worlds what high quality content, products and services they can find online. I would urge online publishers to take advantage of the extended deadline and seize the opportunity to show peers, competitors and advertisers that they are head and shoulders above the rest."
