Coutts Creative devised an in-store marketing design to educate consumers about the benefits of AOL broadband and the range of activities that can be undertaken with a high-speed internet connection, such as music and video streaming.
The design had to stand out while remaining sensitive to the retail environment so a simple white background with a blue AOL logo and a picture of a model enjoying the benefits of music streaming were chosen.
Nigel Stern, managing director at Coutts Creative, said: "We are very proud of having the opportunity to help AOL develop its retail branding and in-store presence. Our teams have worked closely to produce a retail communications package that ensures optimal brand engagement."
AOL considers retail partners to be increasingly important as the broadband market matures.
David Stephens, director of partner marketing at AOL UK, said: "With our distribution in more than 5,000 outlets in the UK, it's important that we maintain tight integration with our above-the-line activities and provide the most effective point of sale material for our diverse partners."
