The publisher is introducing a subscription entertainment service on the site called The Insider's Guide to London.
Offering news on films, clubs, bars and restaurants in the Capital, the service will be offered to users free for a 30-day trial period, and then at just over 拢2 a month if they subscribe.
The service will be backed by a poster campaign on London Underground and radio ads created by ad agency Elliot Borra Perlmutter.
A viral email campaign will go out to a 150,000-strong user database, alongside an online push that will include search optimisation and keyword marketing.
The digital work will be handled by online marketing agency Fuse Media.
"We thought long and hard about adding a subscription service and did a lot of research into it," said Anne Boundford, head of marketing at ANM. "We felt we had a very strong offer and it was a logical move."
Sections added to This Is London in the revamp include a shopping channel, with some retailers hosted via e-commerce firm Altura International, a full traffic and travel information area and a listings service that shows cashpoint locations and includes journey planning.
