The genealogy website Ancestry.co.uk has released a TV spot urging viewers to discover their family history. The work, by VCCP, opens in the present day with a woman approaching a house. As she opens a door, the action switches to the early 20th century and shows a suffragette who shares her surname. The ad then goes further back in time – to the 1770s and then the 17th century – and introduces other ancestors. The spot, which will be supported by print and online work, ends with the tagline: "Discover your story." It was written by Fred Aramis, art directed by Bella Cabral and directed by Sam Miller through Mustard.
