
The caterer went up against three other companies in the pitch for sole caterer status, despite having worked for the venue for the past eight years.
Venue bosses were impressed with Ampersand’s "diverse range of extra touches".
"During the process all four caterers came back with impressive pitches, but Ampersand raised the stakes and we are delighted to continue working in partnership," said No.11 Cavendish Square commercial director Jonathan Morris.
Ampersand managing director Paul Jackson said he worked with his new director of operations Martin Dibben to identify the ‘wow’ factors that would ensure they retained the contract.
"Gary Devereaux, our executive head chef, has created bespoke menus that reflect the trends found in the best restaurants right now – themed tasting dishes and small plates for example – ideas that really work for canapés and receptions with a difference," he said.
The venue houses 30 event spaces spread across four floors with several large theatres, breakout rooms, board rooms, and an Orangery which leads onto a courtyard garden with a feature living wall.
