LONDON - Following a technical problem Amazon was yesterday (Wednesday) offering entire album downloads for just 29p.
Individuals downloaded hundreds of tracks, according to reports, after a pricing error meant at least 30 albums, including those by Coldplay and Lily Allen, were offered with a 95% discount. Amazon was forced to pick up the bill for the mistake.
The problem has now been rectified.
