
Watson was previously operations manager at the company. He has 15 years experience in the industry and has worked for Compass Catering and Roadchef.
Watson said: "I’m looking forward to motoring ahead with our ambitious plans to turn over more than £50m per year."
Alongside Watson’s promotion, Amadeus has also made a number of other appointments, including Marc Frankl to the newly created role of food and beverage director. He will be joined by new operations manager Amanda Fletcher, who will have sole responsibility for events including the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and the Scottish Open.
Paul Thandi, chief executive of Amadeus’s parent company The NEC, said: "We’re delighted to have Kevin on board; his experience, coupled with his energy and enthusiasm will drive Amadeus forward, continuing to push the boundaries in catering excellence."
