Alterian claims that although many list sales organisations use internally developed systems for counting and production, the systems do not typically focus on expanding capability to improve customer service.
It claims that this is because high investment is not available and complex software development is not an area of in-house expertise.
Alterian's List Manager 2.0 builds on numerous implementations of Alterian's underlying technology and a complete integrated system that includes: Quick Counts, so that list buyers can immediately generate counts; workflow management around the production and output of the associated list; production management; data availability and currency; and a single environment that ensures that users are accessing a common database.
