Vertis forms alliance with Alterian to boost data

LONDON - Vertis Marketing Technology, part of the targeted advertising and marketing agency Vertis Europe, has signed an alliance agreement with Alterian, the global provider of marketing and customer insight software.

The agreement highlights the importance placed on analytic automation by Vertis, and reinforces its commitment to data management and customer profiling. The agreement covers both the UK and European regions.

Ruaraidh Thomas, general manager at Vertis Marketing Technology, said: "Data driven marketing is key to our strategy of providing long-term value to our relationships with existing and prospective customers."

The Alterian Marketing Suite allows marketers to work with detailed customer-level data throughout each phase of the marketing process -- from segmentation and analysis to campaign planning, execution and measurement. This segmentation and data mining enable markets to gain insights about their customers and market.

Delivered via its network of more than 40 business partners, customers of Alterian's technology include Merrill Lynch, Daily Telegraph and Vodafone. Alterian also powers solutions for leading Marketing Service Providers such as Experian, GB Group and Carlson Marketing.

Vertis' products and services range from consumer research, audience targeting, and creative services, to targeted advertising inserts, direct mail, interactive marketing and digital one-to-one marketing and fulfilment.
