The agency is charged with developing What On Earth's creative communications across all of the company's communications, including advertising, packaging and new media. The marketing campaign for the brand will break in the summer, with Albion working on advertising, guerrilla marketing and new-media strategy.
The pitch for the account was run by Jeremy Jaffe, a founder of the company. He said: "This campaign is about making our buyers more aware of what we do, as well as targeting new buyers. It's really about getting our name out there."
Jaffe founded the company in 1999 along with Rolf de Polla. It makes a range of ready-made organic meals sold through upmarket retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Villandry and Fresh & Wild. The range includes gourmet pizzas, soups and salads. Its success so far has been based on word of mouth, but the company is now preparing to expand its distribution.
Albion was founded by Jason Goodman, a founder of Tribal DDB, and Matt Gibbins, who joined from Milk Communications. Its clients include Innocent Drinks and the National Gallery.
