Partridge returns next week after an eight year absence with a one-off series that will be aired exclusively on the Foster’s Funny website (www.fostersfunny.co.uk). A trailer goes live on the site on 29 October.

Played by Coogan, Partridge will feature in 12, 11-minute long episodes, starting on 5 November. The series was written and produced by Armando Iannucci and the production company Baby Cow

Foster’s branding will be evident throughout the series, which is set at regional radio station North Norfolk Digital where Partridge hosts the "Mid Morning Matters" segment.

The initiative forms part of a wider comedy initiative by Foster’s, which includes sponsorship of the Edinburgh Comedy Festival and the comedy strand on Channel 4.

Jane Geraghty, the managing director of Naked, said that further comedy series would be revived by Foster’s next year.
