Aegon has shortlisted a handful of agencies to pitch for the account and hopes to conclude the review by the end of October, head of communications management Susan Wilcock confirmed. "This is part of a procurement review process. We are taking a look at our key supplier relationships," she said.
Independent financial agency Ptarmigan Media, which has held the account for more than seven years, will repitch for the business, Wilcock added. The review follows the appointment last month of Steve Clode as director of marketing and consumer strategy at Aegon UK.
