With 11 months' trading concluded, Aegis has revealed good growth against a background of modest market recovery.
In Europe, Carat continued to perform well after winning key accounts including the £45m Lego and £23m Shop Direct tasks, although Carat France experienced a number of client losses towards the end of the year.
In America, Carat had a good new-business year as a result of strengthened communications planning, while Asia-Pacific continued to show strong growth, the company said.
Vizeum achieved good business growth in Europe with a number of significant client wins including Heinz UK, Five and Npower.
Global digital marketing network, Isobar, which brought all of Aegis' digital assets under the one umbrella brand when it launched in July this year, has also seen strong growth.
Outdoor company Posterscope has expanded its network and is said to making good contributions to the group results.
Synovate, the Aegis market research business, witnessed particularly good growth in Europe and Asia-Pacific, as well as in healthcare and automotive industries.
In September, Doug Flynn, chief executive of Aegis Group, said: "Our media businesses are winning significantly more than their share of new business and Synovate is carrying forward a comfortably higher order book than at the same stage last year. I am confident Aegis will deliver another good performance for the full year."
Aegis will announce its 2004 preliminary results on March 8.
