Advertising.com's parent, AOL, bought affiliate oufit Buy.at in February and is now looking to integrate this business along with behavioural targeting oufit Tacoda, which it bought last September, into Advertising.com's UK business.
Cornils, who will have overall responsibility for the newly integrated UK operation, replaces former managing director Mike Peralta, who was promoted last July to head the US and North America division.
Brendan Condon, managing director of Advertising.com International, also moved to London last July to head Advertising.com's mainland Europe operation.
Advertising.com is a part of AOL's international Platform A operation, which provides services globally, with offices in the UK, Europe, US and Japan.
Separately, Advertising.com has won the business to drive Laura Ashley's latest online advertising campaign.
The retailer will be launching a performance-based banner campaign that will run across Advertising.com's network of online publishers, including social networking sites.
