AdConnection wins kitchen contract

LONDON - Independent agency AdConnection has netted £350,000 in new business, picking up the combined media account for luxury kitchen appliance brands De Dietrich and Fagor.

The independent media planning and buying agency won the account following a competitive pitch against fellow independent Agenda and previous incumbent Interaction Media.

 This latest win follows AdConnection’s appointment to the £1m UK media planning and buying account for German kitchen manufacturer Poggenpohl, last October, after a pitch against undisclosed agencies. It already handles media for kitchen specialist Mark Wilkinson.

The De Dietrich and Fagor brands, aimed at both consumer and trade audiences, are managed by Brandt UK, part of the global FagorBrandt group.

AdConnection, based in Wimbledon, was founded in 2001 as an independent media agency. It was recently listed in The Sunday Times as one of the 100 fastest growing UK companies in 2007, ranked at 74.
