
Ramira will report to Nick Higgins, global head of video, and will be responsible for developing and evolving its brand solution within the online video market.
He joins from VBS where he ran a portfolio of agencies and clients within the TV broadcast market and sold cross-media solutions across brands including MTV, VH1, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon. Prior to VBS, he worked at Sky Television for six years.
This latest appointment is part of Adconion's move into the online video space, following the acquisition of some of the video network Joost's assets last November.
In June, Joost became the pre-roll advertising network of record and video advertising platform for Demand Media.
